Model 2850
Ethernet RJ45 to Fiber Optic Transceiver
- Supports 10Base - FL and FOIRL and IEEE 802.3 Standards
- Link Status, Collision, Receive Data, Transmit Data, and Power LED indicators
- ST or SMA optical connectors
- Connects directly to STP cable devices
- Multimode or Single mode option
S.I.Tech 2850 Ethernet Fiber Optic Transceiver is designed to extend
the distance of Ethernet based STP LAN's on a fiber optic cable up to
10 km. The transceiver has RJ45 connector allowing connection to the
STP network devices and provides ST or SMA fiber optic connectors.
Five LED indicators provide a visible verification of transmission status
and transceiver functions.

Optical unit connection: Connect the optical transmission
line to the Tx and Rx receptacles. Note which cable channel
goes to Tx or Rx by noting cable imprint. On the other end,
reverse the connection.
