Powerware UPS Series 9: Featuring "No Break" in output voltage when switching during power failure, provides all 9 levels of power protection:

9 Levels of Power Protection Levels - hover over the image for description of protection

Power Failure A total loss of utility power. Can be caused by a number of events; lightning strikes, downed power lines, grid over demands, accidents and natural disasters. Power failure can lead to hardware damage, data loss, or total system crashes.
Power Sags Short-term low voltage. Triggered by the startup of large loads, utility switching, utility equipment failure, lightning and power service that's too small for the demand. Similar to power failures, sags can damage the hardware.
Power Surges Also known as a Spike. Short-term high voltage above 110% of nominal. With voltages above 110% of nominal, surges can be triggered by a rapid reduction in power loads, heavy equipment being turned off, or by utility switching. The results can potentially damage hardware.
Under Voltage Also known as Brownout. Reduced line voltage for extended periods of a few minutes to a few days. Can be caused by an intentional utility voltage reduction to conserve power during peak demand periods or other heavy loads that exceed supply capacity. Undervoltage can lead to equipment failure.
Over Voltage Increased line voltage for extended periods of a few minutes to a few days. Can send line voltages to levels in excess of 6,000 bolts. Overvoltage almost always results in data loss or hardware damage.
Electric Line Noise High frequency waveform caused by RFI or EMI interference. Can be caused by either RFI or EMI interference generated by transmitters, welding devices, SCR driven printers, lightning, etc. Introduces glitches and errors into programs/files as well as damaging hardware components.
Frequency Variation A change in frequency stability. Resulting from generator or small co-generation sites being loaded and unloaded. Frequency variation can cause erratic operation, data loss, system crashes and equipment damage.
Switching Transient Instantaneous undervoltage (notch) in the range of nanoseconds. Normal duration is shorter than a spike and generally fall in the rang of nanoseconds. Can result in unusual computer behavior and puts stress on components which can lead to premature failure.
Harmonic Distortion Distortion of the normal waveform generally. Switch mode power suppplies, variable speed motors and drives copiers and fax machines are examples of nonlinear loads. Can cause communication errors, overheating and hardware damage.

Small UPS - Single Phase:

9PX6

Powerware 9PX Series  2-11 kVa Rack/Tower Combination

The Eaton 9PX is a single phase double conversion UPS that constantly monitors power conditions and regulates voltage and frequency in a 5-11KVA series UPS Family with up to 98% efficiency and a 0.9 power factor! It is either a Rack/tower combination in a 3U (5KVA) and a 6U in the 11KVA configuration.  The 9PX family can meter energy consumption and KWh values.  It has an internal bypass switch and Eaton’s ABM battery management. These extended battery modules (EBM) allow over 4 hours of runtime. The Powerware 9PX is available in both hardwire models or with plug and receptacles. It is also equipped with hot swappable internal batteries. The UPS can be started on battery power only if there is no external power (black start).

9PXM9PXM

Powerware 9PXM Series  4-20 kVa Scalable, Modular, and Redundant

The Eaton 9PXM UPS is a scalable, modular, flexible solution that combines the highest level of reliability with the lowest cost of ownership in the 4-20 kVA range. The 9PXM enables you to build a power solution specific to your needs, and to expand redundancy and runtime as your needs change. The plug-and-play power and battery modules are user replaceable so users can add them as needed without a service call or having to put a redundant system in bypass. With its low initial investment, online double-conversion technology, Eaton ABM technology and high efficiency mode, you never have to compromise reliability for efficiency.

9SX

Powerware 9SX Series  Successor to the Eaton 9130 UPS

A successor to the Eaton 9130 UPS, the 9SX series comes in two factors (tower or rackmount). Up 3000 VA of UPS power packed into up to 2U of rack space. More runtime can be added with up to 4 external hot-swappable battery modules. The additional battery modules are automatically recognized by the UPS. The Eaton 9SX constantly monitors power conditions and regulates voltage and frequency. The internal bypass allows service continuity in case of internal fault, a maintenance bypass is also available (as an option) for easy replacement of the UPS without powering down critical systems.
